Vladimir Krasnopera, 98, of Moore Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Riverton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Emma (Rosar), who passed away in 2021. Born November 23, 1925, in Moore Township, he was a son of the late Philip and Anna (Stryker) Krasnopera. He graduated from Northampton High School in 1944. Vladimir worked as a supervisor at Bethlehem Steel and continued at Tarkett, where he retired. He also was a hard-working farmer. Vladimir was a member of Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Survivors: daughter, Maryann Jaeger; grandson, Jeremy Madea; sister, Jean Schoemaker; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Russell, and sisters, Marie Kulp, Mary Kulp, Luella Zenovia Martincek, and Stella Hnatow.
Services: Burial Service will be held on Friday, April 19th at 10:00 a.m. in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1301 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church in loving memory of Vladimir. Online condolences may be offered below.
