Virginia M. Huber, 89, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. Virginia was the wife of the late Aloysius J. Huber, who passed on March 29, 2009. Her former husband, Joseph Hametz, died in 1998. Born September 17, 1931, in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late John S. and Virginia C. (Enama) Fellin. Virginia worked in billing at Newhards Pharmacy in Northampton. Prior, she was a secretary at Hazleton School District for many years. Virginia was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and the Young at Heart Senior group. She was also a member of the Coplay Saengerbund.

Survivors: daughters, Lisa  Hughes and husband, Geoffrey, and Patrice Lakatosh and husband, Lee; granddaughters, Katherine and Christina, wife of Stephen Shuey; grandson, Matthew and wife Kelli; great granddaughters, Jillian and Olivia; sister, Mary Lou and her husband Phil; many nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her brothers, Lewis, John and Robert.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed., August 4 ^th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 22 ^nd & Washington Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Entombment will follow in the parish cemetery.
