Vincent L. Poandl III, 85, of Northampton, formerly of Moneta, VA, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. Vincent and his wife, Maryellen (Kachline), celebrated 63 years of marriage on Oct. 1st. Born October 2, 1938, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Vincent L. Jr. and Mary (Augustine) Poandl. Vincent honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at Bethlehem Steel. Vincent enjoyed reading and riding his motorcycle. His family, friends and beloved dogs meant the world to him.

In addition to his wife, Vincent is survived by his children, Veronica L. Moyer, Vincent L. and wife, Jeanette, Christine A. Jandris and fiancé, Ron, and Valerie L. Bond and husband, Cory; grandchildren, Jennifer A. (Eisenhauer) Sheinberg, Eugene Jacob Jandris, Stephanie L. (Jandris) Thomas, Adam J. Lauser Jr., Alex M. Lauser, Emma L. Bond, and Maya E. Bond; great-grandchildren, Sage A. Lauser, Ian E. Jandris, Logan J. Jandris, and Quinn H. Lauser; siblings, Mary Ann Morgan and husband, Butch, Stephen and wife, Carole, Dolores Varnes and husband, James, and Charles and wife, Annie; and several nieces and nephews. Vincent was predeceased by son-in-law, Kim, and great-grandson, Owen W. Schlegel.

Private services are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
