Veronica E. Kurtz, 86 of Coplay, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Born on August 20, 1937 in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Nesttie (Kyra) Bodnar. Veronica married the love of her life, Robert Kurtz and they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2021. She was employed as a seamstress for Cross Country Clothes. Veronica was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay. She loved polka dancing and was a lifetime member of the Coplay Saengerbund.

Survivors: Veronica is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Kurtz, James Kurtz; grandchildren, Nicholas (Kirby) Kurtz, Jessica (Kolby) Ciecwisz; great grandchildren, Taran, Kellen, Saylor; brother, James and wife Maryann Bodnar and several nieces and nephews. Brothers, Charles "Basil", Teddy and Roger preceded Veronica in death.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Thursday, April 11th at 10:00 a.m. in the church, 4 So. 5th St. Coplay. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Online condolences may be offered below.
