Thomas Ellwood Deiter, 79, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Fritzinger) Straup Deiter. Born December 14, 1942, in Schoenersville, he was a son of the late Robert H., Sr. and Beatrice I. (Rettig) Deiter. Thomas worked at Bethlehem Steel for many years. He enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, and was a member of many gun clubs.

Survivors: stepchildren and their families, sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by a niece, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Services: A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 17 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery, Whitehall. Arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
