Theresa Rosencranz, 95, formerly of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She was the wife of the late Marcus J. "Max" Rosencranz, who passed away in 1992. Born January 7, 1930, in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Alois and Paulina (Stranzl) Hafner. Theresa was a sewing machine operator at the former Penn State Mills in Allentown. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church and the Altar & Rosary Society. Theresa was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454 Women's Auxiliary.
Survivors: daughters, Michele White, and Monica Lindsay and her husband, William; sons, Martin and wife, Ry, and Michael and his wife, Tracy; daughter-in-law, Virginia; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Theresa was predeceased by her son, Mark, sister, Pauline, and brother, John.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 28th at 12:00 noon in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may gather on Friday from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Theresa's memory. Online condolences may be offered at below.
