Obituary

Theresa "Bunny" Richardson, 84, of Northampton, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2025.  Born October 6, 1941 in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Marietta (Jones) Richardson.  Theresa was a dietary aide for The Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY for over 25 years before retiring to spend her time with her family.

Theresa was always a caregiver, especially with young children. She dedicated herself to creating a nurturing environment not only in her profession, but her personal life.  While she did not always display physical affection, she had a way of always showing love in the little things she would say and do. The way she would make sure no one around her went unfed, or how she would make sure the ones she loved didn't need anything before tending to herself.    Theresa    was a lover of music, baseball, and food. Her spirit and energy resonated in every room she walked in, leaving behind a sense of calm, laughter, and friendship to everyone she encountered. She was a spiritual protector, in the form of a sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She was a fighter, known for her strength, courage, and perseverance in life.   She will be greatly missed.
