Theresa M. Renner, 86, of Northampton, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Theresa and her loving husband, Gary P., celebrated 59 years of marriage together. Born November 29, 1934 in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Stubits) Marakovits. Theresa worked as a secretary for the former Western Electric. She was a faithful member of Queenship of Mary Church. It was not your usual Mass if Theresa and Gary were not seated at their pew in the front left section of the church. Theresa avidly said her prayers and took special care to pray to Padre Pio and St. Jude. She enjoyed polka music, especially listening to the Jolly Joe Timmer Show. She also loved to sew and cook. Her family was her pride and joy. Theresa was always making sure to tell her husband, children, and grandchildren how grateful she felt to have them in her life.

In addition to her husband, Theresa is survived by sons, Michael J. and his wife, Evelyn, and Matthew J. and his wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Meghan, Noah, and Evan; sister, Anna T. Feichtel; brothers, Joseph and James Marakovits; and several nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her brothers, John and Stephen Marakovits, and sisters, Helen Keeney and Mary Schwartz.

Private services are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
