Theresa E. Erkinger, 92, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John G. "Hank" Erkinger. Born October 9, 1930, in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Kopfenstimer) Yurasits. Theresa was the first employee of Precision Medical Inc. as an assembler. She was a faithful member of Queenship of Mary Church and the Our Ladies Women's Guild. Theresa was also a dedicated member of the Catholic War Vets. Ladies Auxiliary and Friendly Fifties. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors: daughter, Jane Krupa and husband, Michael; grandsons, Michael J. and wife, Elena, and Brenton A. and wife, Amy; great-granddaughters, Makayla Grace, Emma Noel, and Kendra Leigh; brother, John Yurasits and wife, Mary; and several nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her sisters, Ann Stimpfl and Helen Paul.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 11th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Friday morning from 8:30 until 9:45 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.
