Thelma I. (Hunsberger) Stech, 98, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Stech, who passed away in 1994 after 56 years of marriage. Born in Northampton County in 1924, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Pearl (Diehl) Hunsberger. She grew up in Northampton until she married Stephen and moved to Whitehall. Her life was filled with an abundance of love and laughter. Thelma took great joy in crocheting and crafting, as well as cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies. One of Thelma's greatest pleasures came from spending time with family hosting Christmas Day at her house serving her homemade halupkies. The family would like to sincerely thank all the caring people at the Inpatient Hospice Unit on West Chew Street in Allentown, who aided in making her final days comfortable.
Thelma will be remembered and dearly missed by her devoted family, including her daughter, Cheryl (Stech) and son-in-law, Barry Kocher, as well as son-in-law, Charles Druckenmiller.
