Susan M. Dougherty, 76 of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in her home. Born on December 20, 1948 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William "Willie" and Lorraine (Gronotsky) Ifkovits. Susan and her husband, James celebrated 54 years of marriage together. She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School class of 1966. Susan was employed as a legal secretary for Russell Kowalyshyn, Frank Yandrisevits, Gerald Roth, and John Obrecht.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Susan is survived by her children, Scott and wife Sharyn, Thomas, Stacey, William and wife Tanya, Samuel and wife Kate; grandchildren Paige, Abby, Sam, Maura, Ryan, and Nadia; siblings, Joseph, Kathleen Schock, Barbara, Mary Anne, Michael, and Lori; sister-in-law, Louise; brother-in-law, Robert Dougherty; one niece and five nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Jr.; sister, Margaret; brother-in-law, Ambrose; and sister-in-law, Sally.
