Dr. Steven L. "Steve" Paul, 70, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2020 after a long battle with ALS. He was married to Dorothy "Dotty" (Frazer) Paul for over 46 years. Born August 12, 1949 in East Orange, NJ, he was a son of the late Sydney and Dorris (Jacobs) Paul.

An avid sports fan, Steve loved to cheer on the IronPigs, Phillies, and Eagles. His essay was chosen as the winner at the IronPigs Celebration of Life Night, where he was awarded a free funeral from Reichel Funeral Home. Steve loved game shows, trivia, cooking, and fishing. He earned a medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, and practiced as a podiatrist for many years. He later worked in medical billing for Shoemaker Chiropractic Center.

In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by his daughter, Robyn of Bethlehem; son, Scott and his wife of Wilson; brother, Jeffrey Paul and his wife, Patti (Apopka, FL); brother, Eric Paul (Boston, MA); sister-in law, Carolyn Paul (West Roxbury MA); grandchildren and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Victor.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 11:00 a.m. in Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, 3100 Hecktown Rd., Bethlehem. Family and friends may gather Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
