Stephen Pristash, 85, of Whitehall, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2021. He was the husband of Joan (Messenlehner) Pristash for 65 glorious years. Born July 31, 1935 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Fedor and Tanka (Salasky) Pristash. Stephen was a graduate of Whitehall High School and was employed as a cutter at Cross Country Clothes until retiring in 1995. He enjoyed golfing, tennis, skiing, reading and being with his family.  He was an active member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall where he had a deep commitment to his faith and family.

Survivors: son, Anthony Pristash and companion Connie Cecala; son, Robert Pristash, wife, Sharon; daughter, Wendy Pristash-Gonzalez, husband, Gilbert; 3 grandchildren, Robert Pristash, Jr.,  Samantha Biechy wife of Aaron, Elizabeth Gonzalez; 2 great grandchildren, Natalie and Tucker Biechy; brother, Paul and wife, Ann and several nieces and nephews. Stephen was predeceased by sisters, Mary McGuire, Margaret Radio, Julia Shara, Helen Pristash and Anne Pristash; and brothers, Michael, Andrew, John and Peter.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 15th at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4456 Main St., Whitehall. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
