Stella Wolfer, 100, of Northampton, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, in Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. Born on June 25, 1925, in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose (Kurtz) Geosits. Stella was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jake," in 1993. She, along with her husband, was the proprietor of Wolfer's Market for 40 years. Stella was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton, where she was a life member of the church choir. As much as we are diminished by her death, we are enriched by her life. Her charm, courage and warmth of spirit will be greatly missed.

Survivors: Stella is survived by her sons, Michael and wife, Martha, John and wife, Christine; grandchildren, Elizabeth, John, Stephanie, Meghan, and Michael; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Helen Molchany, preceded Stella in death.

Services: Family and friends may call on Monday, July 14th from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. in the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the church. Interment will be at the parish cemetery.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church or Good Shepherd Catholic School in loving memory of Stella. Online condolences may be offered below.
