Stella
Nemeth
Sep 2, 1932 — Oct 17, 2025
Stella Nemeth, of Fellowship Community, formerly of Treichlers and Northampton, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025. She was the wife of John S. Nemeth, who passed in 2017 after 65 years of marriage. Stella was born September 2, 1932, in Northampton, the daughter of the late Alois J. and Anna V. (Marakovits) Keglovits. She was a lifelong member of the Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton serving in church and school organizations, most recently the Women's Guild. She was a member of the Northampton BPW and Quota Club. Stella was the office manager of the family Real Estate practice, and, as a licensed insurance agent, led the insurance practice for over 40 years. Nature inspired her enjoyment of gardening, bird watching and the fauna of her Treichlers home. Music surrounded her most of the time listening to polkas on Saturdays and Musikfest polka replays. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at picnics she hosted and the camaraderie of the kiffle baking team at church. Her passion was organizing a monthly luncheon for her high school classmates for decades up until last month.

Augusta, SC, Catherine of Philadelphia, sons, John Nemeth III of Northampton and Daniel (Elizabeth) of Bethlehem; 7 grandchildren, Megan, Erin, Joshua, Sarah, John, Chelsea and William; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Agnes Kozero.
