Stella Lubenetski, after a long and well-lived life of 100 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at home in the care of her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Lubenetski, who passed away in 1980. Born March 19, 1925, in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late Adolph and Anna (Klucsarits) Panny. Stella was a woman who valued faith and family. One of her most significant accomplishments was raising her six children and being a beloved Grammy and Great-Grammy. Although she excelled in school, she began work before she could graduate. She was thrilled to receive her diploma from Whitehall High School at the age of 97.

Survivors: daughters, Diane Schrameyer and Nancy Nemeth and husband, Albert; sons, John and wife, Beverly, Thomas and wife, Karen, and Mark and wife, Nance; son-in-law, Glenn Smicker; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marci Smicker; son-in-law, Charles Schrameyer; and 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 28th at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4456 Main St., Whitehall. Family and friends may gather on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass in the church. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Whitehall.
