Shirley V. Schweitzer, 87, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. Shirley and her husband, Leo W.H., celebrated 66 years of marriage on June 29th. Born February 18, 1936, in Rising Sun, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy A. and Elizabeth (Tabor) Muth. Shirley was a member of the Allen Township Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was the secretary for the Independent Order Foresters.

In addition to her husband, Shirley is survived by daughter, Veronica P. Schweitzer and her companion, Bradley Fogel; grandchildren, Samantha, Garrett and Gabriel; and great-grandchildren, Cora and Emma. Shirley was predeceased by her daughter, Roxane Schneck, and siblings, Elsie, Bernice, Roy and Lorraine.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Monday, August 28th at 10:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
