Sheila L. Persing, 77 of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born on February 3, 1948 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Lansford and Grace (Burger) Herman. Sheila and her husband, Gerald "Jerry" celebrated 44 years of marriage together. She was an avid sports fan, especially bowling in her younger years and golfing in her adult years. Sheila was a member of the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, Raccoon Club, The Mercantile Club, and the BVFHA.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Sheila is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Dorwart) Waskiewicz and husband Robert, Megan (Dorwart) Craig and husband Christopher, Andrea Galli and husband Dean, Tracey Kresley; grandchildren, Kyle, Grace, Kaitlyn, Mackenzie, Matthew, Mason; great grandchildren, Kamren, Kemma; a sister, Pamela and a niece Kristen. A son in law, Terry and a sister, Sherri preceded Sheila in death.

Services: Family and friends may call on Monday, June 30th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Online condolences may be offered below.
