Sharon Lee Tanczos, 70, of Walnutport, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. Sharon and her beloved husband, Stephen E., celebrated 47 years of marriage together. Born March 31, 1953, in Northampton, she was a daughter of Dorothy D. (Wuchter) and the late Russel Sywensky. Sharon began her professional career working at Laneco for 25 years, then worked at Crayola Experience in Easton, where she loved to express her creative side inspiring children with fun projects. Prior to retiring, she worked at A.C. Moore, where her love of arts and crafts was further nurtured. She greatly cherished the friendships with her co-workers that she made through all of her working years. She was also known for her handmade greeting cards and thoughtfully crafted gifts. Sharon enjoyed nature, especially bird watching. She was a faithful member and church elder at Zion Stone United Church of Christ, Northampton.

In addition to her husband and mother, Sharon is survived by her sons, Michael and his wife, Jennifer, John, and Thomas and his wife, Sorina; grandchildren, Eithan, Arthur, Joshua, Alexander, and Owen; sister, Donna Beers and husband, Donald; aunt Karen, uncle Herbert; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services: A calling hour will be held on Thursday, June 29th at 9:30AM with a memorial service to follow at 10:30AM in the church, 51 Church Rd., Northampton.
