Sandra J. Schaeffer, 85, of Danielsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Schaeffer and companion for over 40 years to the late Leonard Shearer. Born March 24, 1938, in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Larry and Anna (Romig) Gardner. Sandra's family and friends meant the world to her. She was an avid painter and was known for hand painting seasonal magnets, sponsorship boards, and even four race cars. Sandra was a member of the Blue Mountain CB Club.

Survivors: her children, John Schaeffer, Jodi McVay, Rondra Grim (Michael), Tami McVay (Tommy), stepdaughter, Lori Keller (Dennis); grandchildren, Barry, Amy, Brandon, and Nick; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Madelyn, Emily, Lucy, and Elsie; brothers, Peter and Chuck Gardner; and many nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her stepdaughter, Donna Wakefield, and her grandson, Jonathan; sisters, Judy, Becky, Gail; and brothers, Jimmy, Mike, Larry.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
