Obituary

Sallie Ann Gouldner, 88, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Irvin A. Gouldner, who passed in April 2018. Born on June 25, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Forrest E. Jr. and Grace D. (Sechrist) Weaver. Sallie spent many years working as a dental assistant, but the roles she cherished most were those of wife and mother. Her family was always her highest priority. Sallie and Irvin were true soulmates, deeply connected and perfectly balanced, each complementing the other in every way. She was known for her unwaveringly positive outlook on life, which she attributed to her devoted faith. Sallie was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Northampton. She also found great joy in her artistic pursuits, working in a variety of mediums from charcoal to paint and creating unique, heartfelt pieces for those she loved. A devoted animal lover, Sallie had a special place in her heart for dogs and rescued many throughout her life, welcoming each one as a beloved member of her family.

Survivors: her daughter, Deborah A. and son-in-law, Michael T. Price, of Northampton; grandchildren, Emily S. (Price) Madas and her husband, Joshua H. Madas, and Timothy M. Price and wife, Kaitlyn R. (Fehnel) Price; great-grandchildren, Ella, Caleb, Charlotte, and Claire. She is also survived by her daughter, Lori A. Dormann, wife of Steven Dormann, and grandsons, Anthony and Daniel Dormann.
