Russell J. Haas, 95, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Riverton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Allentown. Born on October 26, 1927, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George and Lillian (Singer) Haas, Sr. Russell and his wife, Virginia M. (Sinsky), celebrated 65 years of marriage together. He was employed as a manager for Hoch Contracting for many years. Russell honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown. He also was a member of the American Legion Post 367. Russell was an avid golfer and enjoyed doing projects around the house.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Russell is survived by son, Michael; grandchildren, Tara and husband Matt Golitko, Scott and wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Prissyla, Leightyn and Tibyas. He was preceded in death by brothers, George Jr and Arthur.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 17 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in the church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
