Rose “Rosie” Laury, 96, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Donald E. “Buck” Laury, who passed away in September 2002. Born December 27, 1929, in Kreidersville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Rose E. (Loikits) Stutzenberger. Rosie was a 1947 graduate of Northampton High School. She was a co-owner of the former Alliance Hotel from 1969 to 1994. A devoted member of Queenship of Mary Church, she was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and friendly nature. Rosie touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survivors: sons, David C. and wife, Jodie, Dale A. and wife, Marianne, and Danny and husband, Todd; daughter-in-law, Beth Laury; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Donald J. Laury, and her sister, Mary Yurasits, and a nephew.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 5th at 12:00 noon in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Friday morning from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. in the church. Entombment will follow in Assumption BVM Cemetery, Northampton.
