Ronald E. Rutman, Jr., 56 of Northampton, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born on May 17, 1965 in Sumter, SC, he was a son of the late Ronald E. and Mary E. (Brunson) Rutman. Ronald and his wife, Lisa (Acerra) celebrated 28 years of marriage together. He was employed as a bus driver for First Student for over 23 years. He proudly served as a firefighter with the Northampton Borough Fire Department for over 20 years. In addition, he served on the UAW council. Ronald was a member of the NRA and Pennsylvania Trappers Association.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his son, Andrew Acerra; stepdaughter Desiree and husband Kristian Gagge; sisters, Cheryl Smith and husband Michael, Sheila Hartzell, and husband Michael; 2 nephews; 1 niece and his beloved pets, Rebel, Jasper, Luna, and Mocha.

Services: Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, November 21 ^st from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Interment will be private.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an animal shelter of one's choice in loving memory of Ronald.
