Ronald J. Gable, 90 of Lehigh Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family. Born on May 26, 1932 in Treichlers, he was a son of the late Russell and Margaret (Roberts) Gable. Ronald and his wife, Shirley A. (Mast) celebrated 67 years of marriage together. He was employed as a draftsman for Western Electric and retired from Mack Trucks. Ronald honorably served our country in the US Army during Korea. He was a faithful member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville where he served on the church committee to help build the new Hope Lutheran Church and was part of the blood drive in memory of his son, Doug for 20 years.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by daughter, Sharon and husband Al Hornyak; grandchildren, David, Miah Hornyak and several nieces and nephews. Ronald is preceded in death by his son, Doug and siblings, Wayne, Richard, Larry, Doris Getz and Shirley Furry.

Services: Family and friends may call on Wednesday, November 9 ^th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Dr, Cherryville. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in Indianland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Ronald.
