Ronald S. Betz, 66, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. Born July 15, 1957 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Rose I. (Klucsarits) Betz. He was the husband of Cheryl (Hersh) Betz, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. He was a graduate of Whitehall High School. Ronald was employed as a tire retreader for Service Tire Truck Center for over 50 years. He was a lifetime member of West Coplay Maennerchor and Fullerton Fire Co. Ronald was an avid Notre Dame football fan, Yankee's fan, enjoyed darts, softball, and his daily scratch-off tickets. Survivors: Wife; son Jeremy Betz and wife Lisa; daughter Nicole Iannoccone and husband Robert; grandchildren Jacob and Michaela; brothers Edward Betz and wife Kathleen, Charles Betz; several nieces, nephews; and a grand-dog Gracie. He is predeceased by brothers Barry and Dennis Betz. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
