Robert C. McGowan, 65, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born July 31, 1956, in Lehighton, he was the son of the late Donald and Marleah (Searfoss) McGowan. He worked at Lafarge Cement Co. for many years. Robert and his companion of 17 years, Kathy Hausman, owned six dogs together and enjoyed fostering dogs together. He also enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. Robert honorably served our country in the U.S. Marines.

Survivors: companion, Kathy; sister, Eleanor Williams and her husband, Larry; and stepchildren, Rebecca Ann and Matthew Steven. Robert was predeceased by his sister, Sue Mortier.

Services: Family and friends may gather on Sunday, January 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Interment will be private.
