Robert Linwood Hawthorne, 88, of Northampton, died on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at home with his wife, Terry, by his side. He was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on June 17, 1934. He was the son of the late Harry Flag and Margaret (Lynch) Hawthorne. Robert retired from Bank of America. In retirement, he was employed by Miller-Keystone Blood Center.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret A. (Keyser). Robert is survived by his wife, Terrill L. (Dankel) Hawthorne; stepson, Douglas S. Weindel and his wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Sam and Emily Weindel; and cousins.

Private services are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., Northampton, PA 18067 in loving memory of Robert. Online condolences may be offered below.
