Robert S. “Bobby” Gasper, 66, of Coplay, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born February 13, 1960, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank S. and Anna (Meleta) Gasper. Bobby worked in IT software support at Lehigh Valley Bank. He was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Stiles. An enthusiastic fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies, Bobby rarely missed the chance to cheer on his favorite teams. He also enjoyed staying active through exercise and had a lifelong passion for collecting coins, both of which brought him great enjoyment over the years. Bobby especially loved bowling and was a proud member of a blind bowling league in the Lehigh Valley.

Survivors: sister, Lisa Ann; brother, Frank J. and wife Deborah Healy; uncle, Frank Yagerhofer; and niece, Catherine Ann.

Services: A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, August 8th from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 3024 S. Ruch St., Whitehall. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church or Sights for Hope (formerly Pennsylvania Association for the Blind) in Bobby’s memory. Online condolences may be offered below.
