Phyllis P. Malitsch, 89, of Coplay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Country Meadows of Bethlehem surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis and her husband, William E. "Beansie," celebrated 68 years of marriage on June 27 ^th . Born December 18, 1931, in N. Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Labis) Pudleiner. Phyllis worked at Hess's Warehouse in the clerical department for many years. She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, where she sang on the choir, helped make pierogi, and volunteered with the church picnic. Phyllis was also active with the Whitehall AARP.

In addition to her husband, Phyllis is survived by son, William and his life partner, Marsha E. Cullen; daughter, Mary Alice Matzo and her husband, Geno; grandchildren, Ryan, Holly, Allison, Danielle, and Mallory; and great-grandchildren, Corrine, Summer, and Fionna.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 15 ^th at 11:00 a.m. in the church, 4 S. 5 ^th St., Coplay. Family and friends may gather Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass in the church. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, N. Catasauqua.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church or Padre Pio Shrine, 111 Barto Rd., Barto, PA 19504 in loving memory of Phyllis. Online condolences may be offered below.
