On her 97th birthday, Pearl M. Painz, peacefully went to join her beloved late husband, Floyd O. Painz, in the presence of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She has lived at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA since they both moved there in 2005. She was born in Tatamy, PA, the daughter of the late Ira and Florence Stoudt and the last surviving sibling of 5 girls and 4 boys. She graduated from Nazareth HS and cosmetology school and was a hairdresser for many years while raising her family. She loved to cook, frequent garage sales and volunteer for many organizations. She loved to help people in need and her door was always open! She was responsible for organizing and starting the infamous Troxell St. neighborhood annual garage sale that continued for many years. Pearl was a member of Christ UCC, Allentown and attended services at Fellowship Community Church.
Survivors: her daughter, Marlene Chaney (Richard) of Hatboro, PA; son, Edward (Doreen) of Westminster, CO; 4 grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Melissa and Nicholas; 6 great grandchildren.
Services: Due to the current pandemic situation, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date when it is safer to gather as a group.
