Pauline Takacs, 104, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Renaissance Home, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Takacs, Sr. Born February 6, 1918, in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Anastasia (Butrie) Pidstawski. Pauline worked as a seamstress at the former Universal Pants Co. for 47 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, the Ladies Guild, and the Friendly Fifties. Pauline would volunteer to help make pierogies at the church. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Pauline loved to go bowling at the Northampton Liederkranz.

Survivors: daughter, Nancy Husak and husband, Ihor Paul; son, Charles, Jr. and wife, Joan; grandchildren, David (Becky), Susan (Tom), Charles (Annie), Robert (Lynn), Richard; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Olivia, Piers, Fiona, Ava, Isabelle and several nieces and nephews.

Services: Parastas will be held on Tuesday, July 19 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Northampton. Those in attendance will kindly be requested to wear a face cover and practice social distancing. Online condolences may be offered below.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1343 Newport Ave., Northampton in loving memory of Pauline.
