Paul E. Zimbar, 92, of Catasauqua, passed away peacefully at home on October 16, 2025. Born September 3, 1933 in Salamanca, NY, he was a son of the late George and Edith P. (Howerton) Zimbar. He was married to the late Rosemary M. (Husser) Zimbar. Paul was a computer analysist for Unisys until retiring at the age of 59. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Catasauqua, volunteer for the Catasauqua Fire Co., was a councilman for the Boro of Catasauqua, and on the committee for St. Mary's Cemetery for many years.

Survivors: daughters, Patricia Gibbons (Douglas), Barbara Sukanick (Mark), Catherine Felker (Jan), and Joan Zimbar; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; brother, John Zimbar; and several nieces and nephews. A brother James Zimbar preceded Paul in death.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 23rd at 10:00 a.m. in the church, 122 Union Street, Catasauqua. Family and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
