Paul M. Kovach, Jr., 78, formerly of Bath, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem surrounded by his loving family. Paul was the husband of the late Mary Jane "MJ" (Seko), who passed on Feb. 21, 2020. Born March 24,1942 in Northampton, he was a son of the late Paul M. and Mary (Lelko) Kovach, Sr. Paul and Mary Jane were the owners of Kovach's Korner in Northampton. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Paul was a PIAA baseball umpire for many years. He was an avid Penn State fan and sports enthusiast.

Survivors: his children, Mary Ellen, wife of Joseph W. Schwartz, Walnutport; Paul M. Kovach III and his wife, Geri, Largo, FL; Debra Ann, wife of Brian L. Lesko, Salisbury Township; and Michael J. Kovach and his wife, Paula, Walnutport; brothers, Donald and his wife, Judy, and Francis and his wife, Mary Ann; six grandchildren, Joseph Schwartz, Andrew Schwartz, Kyle Schwartz, Joshua Kovach, Brianna Kovach and Tyler Lesko; and one great grandchild, Jordan Schwartz.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 19 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in Assumption BVM Church, 22 ^nd & Washington Ave., Northampton. Those in attendance will kindly be requested to practice social distancing and wear a face cover.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to the church in loving memory of Paul. Online condolences may be offered above.
