Patricia A. Grabarits, 90, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born January 5, 1936, in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Suzanne (Malynak) Makovsky. Her loving husband, Joseph, preceded her in death in 2016. Patricia worked as a seamstress at Cross Country Clothes until retiring. She was a faithful member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church in Northampton. 

Survivors: Her son, John, and his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Lisa Michael, and her husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Nathan, Joseph, Zachary, Kristin, and Caitlin; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sister Jean Makovsky, OSF. 

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 24th, at 10:00 a.m. at the church, 2181 Washington Ave., Northampton, followed by interment at the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton, is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be offered below.
