Patricia A.
Boyle
Aug 28, 1937 — Apr 12, 2023
Patricia A. (Weaver) Boyle, 85, of Schnecksville, passed away on April 12, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Wilfred "Wil" Boyle, Jr. Born August 28, 1937, in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ruth (Bortree) Weaver. Since her early years learning in a one-room schoolhouse, Patricia always had an inquisitive nature, and enjoyed daily conversations with her grandson, and primary caretaker, Brian. Her favorite childhood memories were of summers spent on her grandparents' farm in Honesdale, PA. Patricia graduated from Liberty High School and Moravian College. Patty worked as an administrative assistant at Texapol, Union Pacific and B. Braun. She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall. Patty had a passion for art, music and nature. Her beautiful soprano voice graced Moravian's Glee Club, Immaculate Conception's church choir and Bethlehem's Bach Choir. She brought beauty to life through her paintings. She loved to play the piano. She was a talented seamstress and knit many gifts for those she loved. Her knowledge of nature and love for gardening inspired her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and bird watching, but the main source of her love and pride was her family. Hosting endless family gatherings filled with food and laughter brought her immense joy. Her humble heart, selfless nature, sweet smile and witty sense of humor will be missed by all who love her.
Left to cherish her memory and legacy are her family: son, Kevin Boyle; daughter, Shannon (Boyle) Lewis and companion, Mark Groff and son, Daniel Boyle. She was the adoring grandmother of 5 grandchildren, Brian, Marissa, Corrine and husband, Brandon, Chad and wife, Alyssa, and Patrick and wife, Leah, along with 7 beautiful great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 18 th at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, 4456 Main St., Whitehall. Family and friends may gather from 9-10:00 a.m. in the church.
