Obituary

Nina R. Koehler, 81, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Burl E., who passed away in 1998. Born August 23, 1944, in Bennettsville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Beatrice (Bundy) Gore. Nina was a life member of Allen Township Fire Co. and Auxiliary. She enjoyed volunteering her time there in the kitchen and as a waitress. Nina was a devoted farmer's wife, caring not only for her family but also for everything that life on the farm demanded.

Survivors: her daughters, Cindy Becker and husband, John, and Christine Stover and husband, Dave; sons, Levine Koehler and Lonnie Koehler and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Michael, Adam, Rachel, Cheyenne, Chelsey, Chelby, Logan, and Madison; and great-grandchildren, Liam, Colton, Emma, Dalton, Maximus, and Montana.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Northampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Zion Stone United Church of Christ, Northampton, Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Nina's memory. Online condolences may be offered below.
