Nanette "Nettie" Elizabeth Kornfeind touched so deeply the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to know her. She had a hearty sense of humor, and when she laughed the whole room joined in. Nettie lived with her family who adored her, and up until the very end, she gave them, and her loving in-home caregivers, so much joy-and so much to laugh about. An ardent fan of all things music, those that knew her knew the key to her heart was anything from Michael Jackson's discography-especially the "Thriller" album. Nettie really was the star of the show. She loved to dance, sing and eat chocolate cake. She leaves behind so many family members and friends who love and miss her dearly, and a radiant, larger than life legacy of laughter, sunshine, and warmth. Nettie, Neato, Net-Net-you really were "like a beauty queen from a movie scene," and we will all celebrate you forever.

Nettie was predeceased by her parents Louis F. and Olga (Palanica) Kornfeind. She is survived by her sisters Marcia, with whom she resided, and Marybeth. Brothers Glenn, Louis and Murry. Beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at Queenship of Mary Church on Saturday May 11, 2024 at 10:00am. Interment at Our Lady of Hungary will follow the service.
