Nancy A. Husak, 87, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Whitehall Manor. Born on July 13, 1938 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Pauline (Pidstawski) Takacs. Nancy and her husband Ihor celebrated 65 years of marriage. She was a registered nurse, a graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in Allentown and provided patient care in hospitals and medical offices throughout her 40-year career. Nancy was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Northampton where she was a longtime member of the church choir, the Ladies Guild, and an avid pierogi-maker.

In addition to her husband, Ihor, Nancy is survived by her son, David Husak and wife Becky (of Windham, NH); her daughter, Susan Hertzog and husband Tom (of Northampton); three grandchildren, Aaron Hertzog and wife Alyssa, Olivia Husak, Piers Husak; her brother, Charles Takacs, Jr., and wife Joan, and three nephews.

Services: family and friends may call on Friday, November 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in loving memory of Nancy.
