Monica Ann Paukovits, 74, of Coplay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Unit, Allentown. Born May 12, 1948 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Catherine (Romanic) Gulla. She was the wife of Kenneth R. Paukovits, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. Monica was a seamstress for Cross Country Clothes for 12 years, and a Teacher / Playground Aide at Ironton Elementary School in the Parkland School District for 31 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.
Survivors: Husband; children, Todd Paukovits and wife Courtney, Tanya Fedorak and husband Stip, Troy Paukovits and wife Carlene; grandchildren Tyler, Stephen III, Kendal, Riley, Kennedy; a sister Margie Zaharachuk and husband Roman; and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a brother John Gulla.
Services: A Divine Liturgy will be held on Thursday, May 11th at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1343 Newport Avenue, Northampton. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 8:45 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st Street, Northampton. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted below.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Monica's memory.
