Miriam E. “Tootie – Grammy” Miller, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg. Born September 28, 1942, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn (Hess) Steffie. She was the wife of Merion Miller, Sr.; together they celebrated 68 years of marriage. Miriam devoted her life to caring for her family as a stay-at-home mom and was a member of Faith Reformed Church of Christ in Walnutport. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Merion C. Miller, Jr., and his wife, Michelle; her daughter, Gail Price, and her husband, Mark; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Adrienne Meyers. 

Services: Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, September 30th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. 

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in loving memory of Miriam.
