Michael Turczyn, Jr., 65, of Northampton, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born December 29, 1956, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Michael, Sr. and Beatrice (Latsch) Turczyn. Michael started working at a young age at his parents' business, Turczyn Vending, Inc. He then was the owner and operator of Garfield Hotel and Laurel Hotel. Michael was an Elvis fan and collector of memorabilia. He was a dedicated member of several social clubs including the Ukrainian Club and West Catty et al. Michael loved to travel to Atlantic City and Myrtle Beach. He also loved his furry pets.

Survivors: wife, Carol Hamel Turczyn; son, Michael Turczyn, III and wife, Ruth; daughter, Jeree Turczyn; stepson, Pierce Picou; grandchildren, Michael IV, Divinadee, Jenavee, and Graycee; sisters, Veronica Minicozzi and husband, Dennis, and Marcia Kuehner; sister-in-law, Sue Hamel; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8 ^th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Family and friends may gather Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the funeral home in loving memory of Michael. Online condolences may be offered below.
