Melissa Metzger, 34, of Northampton passed away Monday, January 2, 2017. Born April 29, 1982 in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of Alan and Deborah (Perillo) Wells.

Melissa graduated from Northampton High School as president of her class. She then earned a Bachelor's Degree in accounting from DeSales University. She work as a clerk for Moravian College. Melissa was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville.

Survivors: sons, Thomas and Lucas; best friend and father of their two sons, Chad Metzger; parents, Alan and Deborah; brother, Scott and wife Andrea; niece, Jamie; paternal grandmother, Joan Wells; godmother, Marianne Kukis; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Melissa was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Howard Wells; maternal grandparents, James and Barbara Perillo; and godfather, David Wells.

Services: Prayer Service will be Saturday, January 7th at 1:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st Street, Northampton. Family and friends may call Friday 4 - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 12 - 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
