Mary Lizak, 87, of Northampton passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 21, 2016. She was the devoted wife of her true love, the late John B. Lizak, Sr., who died February 5, 2003. Born in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Marakovits) Groller.

Mary was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She was a charter member of the Young at Heart Senior Group and the Northampton Area Food Bank.

Survivors: son, John B. Lizak, Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Lizak; and grandchildren, Thomas J. Clemons, Jr. and Jennifer Clemons. Mary was the best (and feistiest) wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 22nd and Washington Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may gather Saturday 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
