Marie Keeney, 89, of Northampton, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Marie was the wife of the late Eugene F. Keeney, who died August 1, 2011. Born February 23, 1932 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Theresa (Franits) Nagy. Marie was a member of Queenship of Mary Church and the Women's Guild. She enjoyed baking and cooking, especially for her loving family.

Survivors: daughters, Donna Smith, wife of Thomas, Joan Smith, Anne Haney, wife of Michael, Mary Ellen Keeney; son, Eugene Keeney, and wife Karol; daughters, Marie Gulliver, wife of William, Maureen Tancin, wife of Robert; son, Stephen Keeney, and wife Michelle; daughter, Colleen Glassmacher, wife of Joseph; 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her brother, Stephen Nagy Jr., and grandson, Stephen Keeney Jr.

Private services are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
