Obituary

Marianne Bianckini, 82, of Whitehall, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was the wife of the late Charles T. Bianckini. Born May 20, 1940, in Ormrod, she was a daughter of the late William and Tessie (Maitski) Gill. Marianne graduated from St. Basil Academy, Philadelphia, and received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Kutztown University. She taught for numerous years in the Lehigh Valley education system and in the school district of Washington, NJ. Marianne was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

Survivors: sisters, Patricia Baker, Rose Gill, and Ann, wife of Charles Fritz; brothers, John and wife, Sylvia, Nicholas, and William; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services: Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, May 15 th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 1343 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call Monday from 8:00 to 9:45 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 st St., Northampton. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church in loving memory of Marianne. Online condolences may be offered below.
