Margaret Meyer, 87, of Neffs, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in her son's home surrounded by her family. Born on March 15, 1935, in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Susanna (Hudsco) Kochenash. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, in January 2022. She was employed as a seamstress at Universal Pants Factory for 9 years and retired from Kings IGA in Schnecksville as a deli manager. She enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, playing bingo, and traveling, especially the annual family fishing vacation to Canada. She also enjoyed going to auctions and flea markets where she would buy and sell antique glassware and small household items.

Survivors: Margaret is survived by daughter, Deborah Mercado and husband, Michael; son, Jeffrey and fiancée, Corinne Conrad; siblings, Virginia Haldeman, Harold, Edward, Joseph, Dennis, and Stephen Kochenash; and her best buddy and granddog, Bosco. She is preceded in death by siblings, Paul Kochenash, Olga Harbove, Anna Borkosky, Rose Hertzog, and Raymond Kochenash Jr.

Services: Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 11th at 3:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be offered below.
