Margaret Ifkovits, 69, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born April 3, 1956, in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William S. and Lorraine M. (Gronotsky) Ifkovits. Margaret was a 1974 graduate of Northampton High School. Prior to retirement, she worked as a secretary/bookkeeper at Simcoe Beverage and also as a legislative assistant for State Rep. Frank Yandrisevits. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors: her siblings, Susan Dougherty and husband, James, Joseph Ifkovits, Kathleen Schock, Barbara Ifkovits, Mary Anne Ifkovits, Michael Ifkovits and wife, Sally, and Lori Ifkovits; sister-in-law, Louise Ifkovits; 8 nephews and a niece; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, William, and brother-in-law, Ambrose Schock.

Services: A prayer service will be held on Friday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Northampton.
