Margaret (Sulick) Bennett-Hammersly passed away Friday June 17, 2022. She died quietly and peacefully at Cedarbrook at the age of 94. Prior to admittance to Cedarbrook, she resided for many years at Catasauqua Municipal Apartments. She was the youngest daughter of the late John Sulyk and Catherine (Hook) Sulyk. Margaret was the widow of Byron B. Bennett and Allen R. Hammersly. Mom had a real "green thumb" and enjoyed flower gardening. Her specialties were Morning Glories and Four O'Clocks. She liked to bake Lemon Meringue pies and they were the best ever!

Survivors: Sons, Thomas Bennett and wife, Sandra, William Bennett and wife, Gale; Daughters, Susan Dougherty and companion, Bernie Mingora, Ellen Bennett; Sister, Katherine Gerhard; Ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by daughter, Catherine Beth Bennett, and sisters, Sophie Novak, Mary Kometic and Helen Schall.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Reichel Funeral Home of Northampton, PA. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be offered below.
