Margaret V.
Bickert
Mar 2, 1929 — Apr 2, 2026
Margaret V. Bickert, 97, of Moore Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Arden Courts at Old Orchard in Easton, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Paul T. Bickert, who passed away in July 2013. Born March 2, 1929, in Danielsville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Lagler) Faustner. Margaret worked as a seamstress at various factories through her career, retiring from the former Sportette in Bath. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Margaret was raised on a farm, where she developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a resilient, "tough" spirit. She took pleasure in shotgun shooting, riding her motorcycle or moped, and baking for those she loved. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, which brought her immense joy.
Survivors: daughter, Dale Ann Flores and husband, William; son, Barry and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Mark, Holly, Brandi, Nicole, and Crystal; 10 great-grandsons and 1 great-great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Frank, Jr., William, Rudolph, John, Alfred, Joseph, and Edwin; and sisters, Hilda Ladick, Anna Yandrisovitz, Angelina Mitchell, Carolyn Winch, Frances Spitko, Elsie Schaeffer, and Rose Silvius, Emma Hunsicker, and Helen Marsh.
Services: A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, April 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Dr., Bath. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will be at Emmanuel Union Cemetery, Bath.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Arden Courts at Old Orchard, may be made payable to Elizabeth Johnson, and noted "Memory Care Unit" in the memo, 4098 Freemansburg Avenue, Easton, PA 18045, or to the church in Margaret's memory. Online condolences may be offered below.
